Abraham Zapruder

Businessman

Abraham Zapruder was an American clothing manufacturer who became a key historical figure. He is best known for unintentionally capturing the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy in a home movie on November 22, 1963. This silent, 8mm color footage, now famously known as the Zapruder film, became one of the most studied pieces of film in history. Despite the profound historical importance of his recording, Zapruder was deeply traumatized by the event and initially hesitant to make the film public.
