Along with her younger sister, Nancy Wilson, she formed the core of the band that rose to fame in the 1970s with hits like "Magic Man" and "Barracuda." Known for her powerful soprano vocals, Wilson has been cited as a major influence by numerous female rock singers. She has also pursued a solo career and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Heart in 2013.
