Benny Hinn is an Israeli televangelist, best known for his regular 'Miracle Crusades,' which are large revival meetings and faith healing summits held in stadiums across the world. Born in Jaffa, Israel, he later emigrated to Canada and then the United States, where he founded the Orlando Christian Center in 1983. His teachings are a prominent example of the prosperity gospel, which posits that financial blessing and physical well-being are the will of God for Christians. Hinn has faced significant criticism and investigation regarding his teachings, financial practices, and claims of miraculous healings throughout his career.
