Wayne Curtis "Curt" Weldon is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987 to 2007. He represented Pennsylvania's 7th congressional district for ten terms. During his time in Congress, Weldon was a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Science Committee. He was known for his strong interest in national security, foreign policy, and missile defense systems.
