Frank Chodorov was an influential American author and essayist, celebrated as a leading figure in the mid-20th century libertarian and conservative "Old Right" movement. A staunch advocate of Georgist economics and laissez-faire capitalism, he argued passionately against taxation and state intervention in both domestic and foreign affairs. He served as the director of the Henry George School of Social Science in New York and later edited publications like 'The Freeman' and his own monthly broadsheet, 'analysis'. Chodorov's most enduring legacy is the founding of the Intercollegiate Society of Individualists (ISI) in 1953, an organization dedicated to promoting individual liberty on college campuses.
