Jello Biafra is an American musician, spoken word artist, and political activist best known as the former lead singer of the punk rock band Dead Kennedys. Following the band's breakup, he became a solo artist and spoken word performer, founding the record label Alternative Tentacles. Biafra is known for his satirical lyrics, anti-corporate and anti-authoritarian views, and direct action political activism.
