John Reed

Journalist

John Reed was a pioneering American journalist, poet, and communist activist, renowned for his eyewitness reporting. He is most famous for his book, 'Ten Days That Shook the World,' a compelling first-hand account of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. His passionate advocacy for the working class and radical political views often put him at odds with mainstream American society. Reed died of typhus in Moscow and is one of the few Americans buried at the Kremlin Wall Necropolis.
