Luther Allison

“I want to show the people that the blues is alive and well.”

“The blues is the roots, the rest is the fruits.”

“My thing is to get the people to be involved with me, so that they're singing with me and they're clapping with me.”

“I give it all that I have, I can't do no more than that. I'll give you a hundred percent and you can take it or leave it.”

“Leave your ego, play the music, love the people.”
