Vincent Frank Testaverde is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 21 seasons. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he won the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 1986. Testaverde was the first overall pick in the 1987 NFL Draft and went on to play for numerous teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets. Known for his longevity and strong arm, he set several NFL records throughout his journeyman career.
