William Hooper

William Hooper was an American lawyer, politician, and a prominent Founding Father of the United States. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he established his career in North Carolina, quickly becoming a leader in the colony's resistance to British rule. He represented North Carolina in the Continental Congress and was one of three delegates from the state to sign the Declaration of Independence.
