Alfred Moisiu is an Albanian politician and former military general who served as the 4th President of Albania from 2002 to 2007. He graduated from the military engineering school in Leningrad and later pursued advanced courses at the Academy of Military Engineering in Moscow. Before his presidency, Moisiu held various high-ranking positions in the Albanian military and served as Minister of Defense. As president, he focused on strengthening democratic institutions, fighting corruption, and guiding Albania towards European integration.
