Danielle Dax is an English musician, producer, and artist, first gaining prominence as a member of the post-punk band Lemon Kittens. Embarking on a solo career in the early 1980s, she became known for her experimental sound, theatrical performances, and distinctive visual style. Her albums, including Pop-Eyes and Inky Bloaters, explored avant-garde, industrial, and pop influences, earning her a dedicated cult following. After stepping back from music in the mid-1990s, she has since focused on other artistic pursuits, including painting and interior design.
