Donald Howard Sutton was an American professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for 23 seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Known for his incredible durability and consistency, he is one of the few pitchers to achieve both 300 wins and 3,000 strikeouts. Sutton recorded over 100 strikeouts in 21 consecutive seasons, a testament to his longevity and skill on the mound. After his playing career, he became a successful and well-respected broadcaster, most notably for the Atlanta Braves, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
