Evel Knievel was an American stunt performer and entertainer who attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. His spectacular performances, including the 1974 attempt to jump Snake River Canyon, made him a global icon of the 1970s. He suffered more than 433 bone fractures during his career, earning an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for surviving the 'most bones broken in a lifetime'. Knievel's legacy inspired generations of daredevils and he remains a symbol of fearless determination and showmanship.
