Jack Nance was a distinctive American actor known for his unique character roles and his frequent collaborations with director David Lynch. He gained cult status for his iconic lead performance as Henry Spencer in Lynch's debut feature film, Eraserhead (1977). Throughout his career, Nance appeared in many other Lynch projects, including Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart, and the television series Twin Peaks.
