Matthew Broderick is an American actor and singer with a career spanning film, television, and theatre. Broderick gained fame for his starring role as the charming high school slacker in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He has won two Tony Awards, one for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Brighton Beach Memoirs and one for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He is also known for voicing the adult Simba in Disney's The Lion King and for his role as Leo Bloom in the Broadway and film versions of The Producers.
