Ray Combs was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. He is best known for hosting the popular game show Family Feud from 1988 to 1994, succeeding the legendary Richard Dawson. Before his television career, Combs was a successful stand-up comedian, often appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Tragically, he died by suicide in 1996 after facing career and financial difficulties.
