Robert Lynn Asprin was an American science fiction and fantasy author, best known for his humorous MythAdventures and Phule's Company series. Born in St. Johns, Michigan, he served in the U.S. Army and later became a prolific writer and editor. Asprin's work is characterized by its wit, puns, and comedic take on traditional fantasy tropes. He was also a co-founder of the popular Thieves' World shared world anthology series.
