Warren Bruce Rudman was an American attorney and Republican politician who served as a United States Senator from New Hampshire from 1980 to 1993. He was widely respected for his fiscal conservatism and gained national recognition as a co-author of the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Balanced Budget Act. After leaving the Senate, he remained an influential voice on matters of national security and fiscal policy, serving on various commissions. Rudman was also a decorated veteran of the Korean War and previously served as the Attorney General of New Hampshire.
