Michel Platini is a French former football player, manager, and administrator often regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. As an advanced playmaker, he was renowned for his elegant style, exceptional passing, and prolific goalscoring, particularly from free-kicks. Platini won the prestigious Ballon d'Or three consecutive times in 1983, 1984, and 1985 while playing for Juventus.
